Now the world's most widely used Greek edition of the New Testament is in a completely revised and improved edition. For the first time the newly discovered papyri 117-127 were evaluated for the 5th edition. In addition, is now displayed in the critical apparatus, at which points selected modern Bible translations including the King James Bible and the NASB are based on a variant of the Greek New Testament in the apparatus rather than on the top text. Finally, the segmentation apparatus was completely newly developed, in which the division of the text in mind sections (such as commas, paragraphs or quotes) can be found in modern translations of the Bible as well as in other editions of the Greek New Testament. One focus of the audit was on the Catholic Epistles, where the output was adjusted to the 2013 published the second edition of the Editio Critica Maior. This led to more than 30 changes in the upper text as well as a completely newly developed in this part of the critical apparatus with new tools selecting and revised variant selection.
