The NA28th revisions include:
Simplification of the structure of the critical apparatus for more convenient use.
Papyri 117–127 readings are now cited opening up interesting perspectives particularly for the Acts of the Apostles.
The Catholic Epistles now incorporate the Editio Critica Maior, representing the most recent scholarly research in establishing the Greek text and reconstructing its textual history. This lead to more than 30 modifications in the main text and resulted into a critical apparatus which is newly complied in its entirely for this section and includes a new section of witnesses and variants.
The cross-references in the margin are also systematically revised and supplemented mainly with references to early Jewish literature.
